Dollar for dollar, there’s nothing even close to a ForestSense inventory. ForestSense combines the data contained in the footprint (traditional forest metrics such as height, DBH, TPA, basal area/acre, volume, species etc.) of every visible tree crown in every stand within your forest. This generates a spatially explicit map of every visible tree crown—a virtual carpet of inventory metrics that can be aggregated according to acre, stand, or property boundaries. Variations in forest performance, previously unknown to the forester, can be seen, analyzed, and measured. As a result, you are able to make superior harvest and silviculture decisions.

Brief description of
our standard delivery
Our ForestSense Management Inventory equips you to make site-specific forest management decisions required for precision forestry. Our standard delivery provides you with a comprehensive view of your forest by delivering:
- LiDAR
- Imagery
- Inventory database
- Updated stand lines and
- Documentation
(includes sampling of thematic maps)

To ensure successful implementation and smooth transition of your new inventory, we will commit post project time to you.
Volume, an output from a ForestSense Management Inventory, is converted into carbon biomass using a standard set of equations. This calculation is essential for determining the inventory of carbon stocks in your forest. These metric tons of biomass are a key input to the total carbon credits available for trade on carbon markets.

The Carbon Baseline Calculation is an add-on product to our standard ForestSense Management Inventory. Carbon exchanges vary in their required specifications. We will collaborate with you to design our inventory protocols to meet your carbon objectives.
We are in dialogue with potential customers both internationally and domestically. We also have an exclusive agreement with the Water Center for the Humid Tropics of Latin America and the Caribbean (CATHALAC) based in Panama to provide Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Tier 3 inventories for Latin American nations.
